A downloadable game for Windows

Use your words wisely—some of them might have a rather explosive behaviour..

Bolygó is an upcoming rogue-like rpg where you delve into the dangers of the Assur, a sizeable and inscrutable island rife with treasures to claim and foes to slay.

Only the bold dare to venture its realms and the boldest of all we call Orators, practitioners of wizardry through the use of a mysterious and ancient language.

As an Orator, you will weave mighty spells using words you'll learn as you journey forward. combine powerful incantations together with clever decision making and preparation and bring down any foe that bars your path!

Bolygó currently lies in a state of steady yet somewhat slow development. A number of features are available or at least ready, but in an order that is subject to change and doesn't always make the most sense.

With that in mind, you can download the latest prototypal version available down below.

Feedback, suggestions and general rants are welcome and encouraged.

the game had an interesting premise, but it might be too cumbersome to be fun. typing the spells and types is all right, but the different types of suffixes seemed a bit unnecessary. it's a lot of information that goes right out the window once combat starts. regardless, i can respect the game's ambitious design.

really needs some music; even if it's royalty free music from FMA or kevin macleod, to me that's better than silence (though i will say it was fun picking my own ost when i played lol).

where this game really shines is in its presentation. love the layout and borders to the game (the big empty space at the top can go though). the character customization was an unexpected surprise. the enemy designs and terrain were both excellent. the pixel art is superb and i hope whoever is responsible for it has a job as a pixel artist. i'd hire them if i had the money!

the game was interesting but perhaps a bit too convoluted. but im interested in how future updates will shape it. godspeed with development!
